01. 01. REAL POSITIONS, NOT A DIAGRAM
Textbook solar systems are schematics: evenly spaced, all on one plane, frozen. This one is an ephemeris — the planets are where they are today, and dragging time forward runs the calendar so orbital periods are watched rather than memorised.
02. 02. IT ADMITS WHEN IT IS LYING
Sizes and distances are compressed so the thing fits on a screen, and the app says so, with a True scale mode that shows the honest version and a standing answer to "why is everything on the same flat plane?". Naming the distortion is what turns a convenient diagram back into a teaching tool.
