An Iron Digital MI tool. CAD is bloated — most model makers demand an engineering degree to carve a custom hole. FORGE is a fast browser sandbox: drop primitives on a build plate, stack, join, cut, hollow and array them, emboss real 3D text, import an STL or SVG to remix, then check printability against the bed before exporting. No downloads, no subscription bloat, with an API embed and a client portal alongside.

01. 01. PARAMETRIC, NOT FREEHAND

Eleven primitives — box, cylinder, sphere, cone, ring, wedge, dome, tube, hex, pyramid and real 3D text — placed by click and combined with join, cut, overlap, mirror, align and linear arrays. Every part stays numeric, so a dimension is edited rather than re-sculpted, which is the whole difference between CAD and modelling.

02. 02. THE BUILD PLATE IS THE CONSTRAINT

Bed lock, dimensions, snapping and an analysis view are first-class controls rather than an export-time check. The tool is for people who print, so the print volume is present from the first shape instead of arriving as a failure at slice time.

STL and 3MF import make it a remix tool as well as an authoring one — the common real job is cutting a hole in someone else's model, not starting from an empty plate.
