779 credited images and primary sources are carried by the lessons themselves rather than cited at a distance, so the reading and the evidence it rests on sit on one screen. A claim a student cannot check against its document is a claim they can only take on trust.
02. 02. IT DOES NOT FLATTEN THE DISAGREEMENT
Where historians disagree, the course says so instead of resolving it into one tidy verdict. Units are built as inquiries for the same reason: the argument is the subject, and a textbook that hides it is teaching a conclusion rather than a discipline.
